Is it a phone? Or is it a hotspot?
-
Surf the web on your laptop without Wi-Fi.2
Just connect the Palm® Treo™ 755p smartphone to your laptop, and then surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server—just as you would if you were using another connection.2 With dial-up networking (DUN), you won't need any extra hardware or a PC wireless data card. -
Two ways to connect.
If your laptop is Bluetooth® enabled, you should be able to connect the Treo 755p to your laptop via Bluetooth wireless technology. Otherwise, you can connect using the included USB cable.2 When you connect with USB, you'll be charging your smartphone at the same time you're using your laptop. -
Put the Internet on hold.2
While you're using your smartphone as a modem, you can still make and receive calls3—the dial-up networking connection will simply be suspended while your call is in progress.
