Palm Introduces Treo 750 Smartphone with Carriers in Singapore and Philippines
SINGAPORE & MANILA, Philippines, May 04, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq:PALM) today announced the availability of the Palm(R) Treo(TM) 750 smartphone on the StarHub and SingTel networks in Singapore and the Globe network in the Philippines. The Treo 750 offers the world-class Palm experience on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
The Treo 750 combines Palm's one-of-a-kind user experience with a multifeatured mobile phone with email, messaging, web browsing and organisation software all in a new compact design.(1) The new smartphone is capable of High-speed Download Packet Access (HSDPA) wireless broadband connectivity and comes with Microsoft's Direct Push Technology for Windows Mobile 5.0, which includes security features free and out of the box.(2)
