Phone Link Update

Posted June 15, 2005

What is PhoneLink Update?
Your handheld is compatible with a number of mobile phones and service providers out of the box. Phone Link Update adds more phones and service providers, so that you can use your mobile phone's Internet connection with these applications on your handheld:
  • SMS (text messaging)
  • MMS (photo and video messaging)
  • Email
  • Web browsing

Note: Additional mobile network services may be required and are not supplied in this update. For example, in order to do MMS messaging, you must have MMS services on your mobile account. Check with your mobile service provider for more information. Moreover, applications required for some of the above features may not be included with all handhelds, and must be purchased separately. Check your handheld's user guide or specifications for more information.
