Download & Install Palm Desktop 4.2.1 Rev D for Macintosh
Before you begin:
| 1. | Make sure you are logged in to your Macintosh with admin privileges. If you are not sure how to do this, refer to Apple support. | |
| 2. | Keep your Macintosh's admin password in mind. You will need to enter it during installation. |

Download Palm Desktop 4.2.1 Rev D for Macintosh
PalmDesktopMac421d.dmg (17.1 MB DMG file)
| 1. | Locate the PalmDesktopMac421d.dmg file you downloaded. Double-click on this file. | |
| 2. | After your Macintosh mounts the file, a new icon named palmOneSoftware.pkg will appear in the same location. Double-click this item. | |
| 3. | The Palm Desktop installer wizard will begin. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Palm Desktop on your Macintosh. | |
| 4. | When installation is finished, you may drag and drop the palmOneSoftware.pkg item to the Trash, or archive it on your Macintosh hard drive for future reference. |
Uninstalling Palm Desktop
The installer for Palm Desktop 4.2.1 Rev D does not include an uninstall function. To uninstall Palm Desktop, open your Macintosh's Applications folder, and drag and drop the Palm folder to the trash. If Palm Desktop is in the Dock, drag and drop its icon off the Dock.

The Palm Desktop download above includes these languages. To switch to your language:
| 1. | On your Macintosh, click the Apple logo in the upper left corner. | |
| 2. | Select System Preferences. | |
| 3. | In System Preferences, select International. | |
| 4. | In the list of languages, move your preferred language to the top. | |
| 5. | Log off your Macintosh, then log back in. |
The Macintosh OS X system, including Palm Desktop, will appear in your language. If you need help switching the Macintosh OS X System Preference for language visit Apple's website for information.
